Welcome to The Thin Line Crew, a career organization and professional development application provided by Stable Barn Technologies (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Purpose of the App

The Thin Line Crew helps public safety professionals organize their career information and prepare professional materials.

Features may include career history tracking, training and certification records, professional accomplishments, resume drafts, career portfolios, interview preparation, promotion planning, annual reviews, and leadership application preparation.

The App is an independent career organization tool.

2. No Government or Agency Affiliation

The Thin Line Crew is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any law enforcement agency, fire department, emergency medical services agency, public safety communications center, government department, certification authority, or examination organization unless expressly stated.

References to public safety professions are descriptive only.

3. No Guarantee of Professional Outcomes

The App does not guarantee:

• Employment, promotion, or selection for a position

• Successful completion of an examination or assessment

• Certification, licensure, or professional qualification

• Acceptance into leadership or training programs

• Compliance with agency hiring or promotional requirements

Generated materials are preparation aids and should be reviewed and verified by the user.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide information that you are authorized to use and to review all documents and summaries before relying on them.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your employment history, certifications, accomplishments, dates, and other professional information.

You must not use the App to misrepresent credentials, employment, qualifications, or professional experience.

5. Confidential and Restricted Information

The App is not designed or approved as a secure repository for confidential public safety records.

You agree not to store or upload information that violates applicable laws, employer policies, confidentiality obligations, or professional standards.

This includes restricted criminal justice information, protected patient information, confidential investigative materials, and sensitive information identifying victims, suspects, witnesses, or other protected individuals.

The App is not represented as CJIS-compliant, HIPAA-compliant, or approved for agency operational records.

6. Local Storage and Data Loss

Career records and supported attachments are stored locally on the device.

The App provides user-controlled backup and restore features, but users are responsible for creating and safely storing backups.

Device replacement, app deletion, storage clearing, software failures, or other technical events may result in loss of locally stored information.

Exported backup files are not encrypted by the App.

7. Generated Career Materials

Resume drafts, professional summaries, portfolios, interview preparation materials, and other generated content are based on information entered by the user and the App's available templates.

These materials are provided for convenience and personal preparation.

Users must independently review all generated content for accuracy, completeness, suitability, and compliance with applicable professional requirements.

The App does not automatically submit applications or materials to employers, agencies, or other organizations.

8. Intellectual Property

The App's original design, software, branding, and associated materials are owned by Stable Barn Technologies or its applicable licensors.

You retain your rights to career information and original materials you enter into the App.

You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to use any third-party documents, images, or materials you add.

You may use your own exported career documents for personal and professional purposes.

9. Purchases and Payments

The App may be offered as a paid download through the Apple App Store.

The purchase price, availability, billing, and applicable refund processes are governed by Apple's purchase terms and applicable law.

The App does not currently offer subscriptions or in-app purchases.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access to associated systems, or use it for unlawful purposes.

You also agree not to falsely represent that the App provides official certification, examination results, agency approval, or employment eligibility determinations.

11. Availability and Updates

We may update, improve, modify, or discontinue App features from time to time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device or operating system version.

We may release updates to address security, functionality, accessibility, or compatibility issues.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular professional outcome.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Stable Barn Technologies is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the App, including lost career opportunities, inaccurate user-entered information, or loss of locally stored data.

This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law or to liabilities that cannot legally be limited.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions as the App evolves.

Updated terms will be published at the designated Terms and Conditions URL with a revised effective date.

Continued use after applicable changes may constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
