The Thin Line Crew — Privacy Policy

The Thin Line Crew (“App”) is a career organization and professional development application provided by Stable Barn Technologies (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

We respect your privacy and designed the App to help public safety professionals organize career information without requiring an account or cloud-based career record storage.

1. Information You Enter

Depending on the features you use, the App may store:

• Career and employment history, assignments, positions, and agencies

• Training records, certifications, education, and professional accomplishments

• Awards, leadership experience, instructor experience, and community involvement

• Career goals, promotion preparation, interview responses, and professional development notes

• Documents, photographs, and other attachments you choose to add

• App preferences, including selected public safety discipline and appearance settings

You control what information you enter.

2. How Your Information Is Stored

The App is designed to store user-created career records locally on your device using device-based browser storage and on-device attachment storage.

The App does not require account registration and does not use a cloud database to synchronize your career records.

Local data is not necessarily encrypted by the App. You should protect access to your device and avoid entering information that requires specialized security protections.

3. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect Through the App

The App does not currently include:

• Required user accounts or social login

• Advertising or advertising trackers

• Third-party analytics integrations

• AI services that receive your career records

• Public profiles or community sharing

• Automatic submission of your records to employers or agencies

Normal technical communications may occur when the App loads its hosted interface or accesses linked websites. Such communications may involve technical information, such as an IP address, handled by hosting or network providers.

4. Attachments and Device Permissions

You may choose to attach photographs or documents to career records.

The App accesses files you select for its supported features. Selected attachments are intended to remain in the App's local device storage unless you choose to export or share them.

The App does not require access to your entire photo library to maintain a career portfolio.

5. Backups and Exports

The App offers user-controlled backup and export functionality.

Exported backup files may contain your career information and attachments. These files are not encrypted by the App and should be stored securely.

If you save or share a backup through iCloud Drive, email, another application, or a third-party storage provider, that provider's privacy practices may apply.

We do not automatically receive your exported files.

6. Public Safety Confidentiality

The Thin Line Crew is intended for personal career organization, not for storing operational or legally restricted information.

Do not enter or attach:

• Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) or criminal justice system data

• Protected health information or identifiable patient records

• Victim, suspect, witness, or confidential informant information

• Sensitive investigative or intelligence materials

• Restricted agency documents or nonpublic operational information

• Passwords, access credentials, or other protected security information

Users are responsible for following their employer's policies and applicable confidentiality requirements.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your locally stored information generally remains on your device until you edit, delete, or reset it, or until it is removed by the operating system or browser storage environment.

You may delete individual records and use the App's Delete All App Data function to remove locally stored App information.

Deleting the App, resetting a device, or clearing its storage may permanently remove your information. We cannot recover locally stored information that has not been backed up.

Deleting local App data does not automatically delete backup files you previously exported to other locations.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for individuals organizing professional career information and is not directed toward children under 13.

We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through an App account or cloud database.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The App uses Base44 technology for application hosting and delivery.

External links, including support and legal pages, may open websites governed by their own privacy practices.

The App does not currently use third-party advertising networks, analytics services, or AI processing services for user-created career records.

10. Security

We use an architecture intended to minimize the transmission of personal career records by keeping them on the user's device.

However, no software or storage method is completely secure. The App does not provide specialized encryption or compliance guarantees for confidential public safety information.

Users should maintain device security, appropriate backups, and caution when exporting files.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, its features, or applicable requirements.

Updates will be posted at the Privacy Policy URL with a revised effective date.
